Strawberry chayote rhubarb compote

Ingredients
1.0 cup chayote1.0 cup rhubarb, frozen1.0 tbsp walden farms strawberry syrup1.0 tsp lemon zest1.0 cup splenda, granulated1.0 tbsp Lemon juice1 - 2 cinnamon sticks, optionalGinger, ground or fresh, optionalStrawberry extract flavoring, optional
Directions
Mix all ingredient in crockpot, cook for 4 - 6 hours on high or overnight on low. Can peel and seed chayote if desired, will affect fiber count if peeled. Taste and adjust seasonings/sweetener to taste.
