16 oz Beef, 90% Lean Ground Beef from Sirloin 3 cup Canned Tomatoes 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 1 tbsp Butter, salted 4 cup, undrained Sauerkraut 1 cup Brown Rice, long grain
Melt the butter on low and cook the onion until translucent.
Add the beef and just brown.
Add, in layers, the rice, the sauerkraut with all of its liquid,, and the tomatoes in that order.
Bring to a simmer then cook on low for one hour or until the rice is done.
Serving Size: Makes three equal servings.
