Mixed bean soup with steak

Ingredients
2 C baby carrots2 C celery diced2 TB chpd fresh basil3 TB garlic powder1 C black beans1/2 bag mixed dry beans for soup8 oz cooked leftover steak cubed or chicken4 C swanson 99% fat free chicken broth1 C sliced onionssalt, pepper and other spices of choice to taste ( I used herbes de provence-1 TB)
Directions
wash and rinse beans, can soak over night to soften, or boil in pan on stove 1-2 hrs then use either on stove top or in slow cooker.
Put everyting in slow cooker and cook on low 12 hrs or until beans and veggies are soft to eat.
