Ingredients
0.5 cup Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters)1.0 dash Salt1.0 tsp Vanilla Extract0.5 cup Applesauce, unsweetened1.0 cup, pitted, chopped Dates1.0 cup, chopped Walnuts2.0 cup Oats, Quaker2.0 Tbsp. Brummel & Brown, Original Spread made with Yogurt24.0 tsp coconut sugar, Madhava" Organic = 1/2 c.12.0 tsp Truvia Baking Blend Natural Sweetener with Sugar = 1/4 c.
Directions
Grind oats to flour. Add oats to large bowl, add in 1/2 c coconut palm sugar, 1/4 c truvia, 1 tsp. Vanilla extract, 1/2 c applesauce, 2 Tbsp. Brummel and Brown, 1/2 c egg beaters, 1 c pitted/ chopped dates, dash of salt, and 1 c chopped walnuts. Mix together well to form batter. Add more moisture if necessary. Pour batter into greased 8 x 8 pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 35 minutes, check for doneness by inserting toothpick, if clean, remove from oven and let cool on wire rack. If not quite done continue baking in 3-5 min. increments until done. Enjoy! ~ Serving Size: Makes 16 bars. Serving size: 1 bar, 157 calories, 3.5g protein, 2.5g fiber, 6.4g fat :))
