Chewy chocolate chip pecan Granola Bars

Ingredients
2 cups quick cooking oats 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour 3/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup wheat germ 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon -- ground 1/2 cup pecans -- chopped 1/2 cup canola oil 1/2 cup honey 1 egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
preheat oven to 350F, line 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper or foil.

In large bowl, stir together oats, flour, brown sugar, choc chips, wheat germ, salt, cinnamon, and pecans. In smaller bowl blend oil, honey, egg, and vanilla. Pour into the flour mixture, and mix by hand until the liquid is evenly distributed. Press into the prepared pan.

Bake 20 min or until the edges are golden. Cool completely in pan before placing on cutting board and cutting into bars. Makes 20 small bars or 10 large bars.
