4-6 full chicken breastsOne can cream of chicken soup - low fatOne can cream of celery soup - low fatOne can cheese soup3 cups dry brown riceone medium onion diced2 tablespoons of minced garlic (or to taste)salt & pepper to tasteGarlic Powder to tasteOnion Powder to taste2 cups water
Mix all the soups, rice, onion, water, and garlic in a bowl. Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Season chicken with all the seasonings then place one layer of chicken in the crockpot then a layer of the soup mixture. Repeat until all the chicken pieces and the mixture is used. Cook on low heat for 4 hours if fresh chicken - if chicken is frozen - then cook for 5-6 hours (mine is normally done in 5 - but it will depend on the crockpot). Makes 6 servings of both chicken and rice. It's an entire meal! ENJOY! :)

Followed this recipe exactly and was pleased with the flavor but extremely disappointed with the rice. I believe "instant" brown rice was used (but not specified) for this recipe because I used regular brown rice and, after the 4+ hours I cooked it, the rice was horribly crunchy and just awful. - 5/19/14
