1 cup Butter, salted 2 cup, packed Brown Sugar 4 tbsp Karo Light Corn Syrup (by DHOVAN) .25 tsp Salt .25 tsp Baking Soda 20 cup Popcorn, air-popped 1 tsp burnt sugar falvoring 1 serving butter flavoring
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Using a air popper, pop 5 qt popcorn. Place into a heavy roasting pan that has been sprayed with PAM.
In a heavy 4qt sauce pan heat butter, brown sugar and corn syrup to a boil and boil for 5 minutes while stirring.
Remove from heat, add flavorings, salt and then baking soda.
Mix will foam up, pour over the popped corn and mix well.
Cook in oven for 45-60 minutes, turning every 15 minutes.
Place large heavy duty plastic bag onto counter top. Pour carmel corn and spread. Allow to cool and place into airtight containers.
