Bhindi Gosht (Indian Okra with beef)

Ingredients
2 c. chopped okra1 c. onions chopped1 c. chopped tomatoes1 1/2 c. water3/4 stir fry beef1 1/2 tsp salt1 tsp ground coriander1/2 tsp cayenne pepper1/2 tsp turmeric
Directions
Chop the onions and tomatoes. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions. Add the beef and brown. Add tomatoes, salt and spices. Mix well and cook on med low heat about 5 minutes. Add the water and okra. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until okra is cooked and most of the water has evaporated. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.

Eat with fresh chapatti or as a side dish. Serves 6.
