1.25 cups uncooked brown or green lentils, rinsed and drained2 8 oz cans tomato sauce (or one 15 oz. can 1.5 cups canned diced tomatoes, no salt added (one 14.5 oz. can)1.5 cups water 1 medium onion, diced 1 medium red bell pepper, diced 1 medium green bell pepper, diced1 medium carrot, grated3 oz. spinach chiffonade3 cloves garlic, minced1.5 tbsp chili powder 2 tbsp ketchup (no high fructose corn syrup) 1 tsp prepared mustard (yellow or other) 1 tbsp tamari or say sauce .5 tsp cumin .5 tsp onion powder
Add all ingredients to slow cooker. stir to combine. cook on low four hours.
