4 cup shelled (50 halves) Walnuts 6 tsp packed Brown Sugar 1 tsp coconut sugar, Madhava™ Organic (1 t) 1 tsp Salt .25 tsp Ginger, ground .5 tsp McCormick Cajun Seasoning (by TTROUBLE) .12 tsp Cinnamon, ground .25 tbsp Ground tumeric (by SUPERSNAZZ) 1 tbsp Y-SUP-Fiber-SUPER-SEED-Beyond-Fiber-1-TBS 4 tbsp Coconut Oil - Nutiva Organic Extra-Virgin Coconut Oil
Preheat oven at 285 degrees.
Mix together dry ingredients, being sure to pinch out any lumps in the sugar or salt. Set aside
Toss together walnuts with melted coconut oil in a big bowl
Sprinkle over dry mixture and toss to coat
Spread out over 2 baking pans lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 2 hoursin a 285 degree oven, rotating pan, half way through.
Let cool slowly in the turned off oven or emove and let walnuts cool on pan until room temperature, store in a container lined with paper towel or wax paper.
Serving Size: makes 16 quarter cup servings for a healthy snack or treat
