Crockpot stuffed peppers in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
4 bell peppersOnions, raw, 1 cup, chopped2 cloves garlic, dicedSalt, .5 tspPepper, black, .5 tsp1/2 lb Ground beef, extra lean2 cup brown rice, cooked2 tsp italian seasoning28 Oz can tomato sauce1 cup cherry tomatoesTomato Paste, .33 can (6 oz)
Directions
slice the tops off of the peppers, clean and remove seeds. Dice the removed tops of the peppers for the stuffing mixture.

Combine ground beef, rice, onion, garlic, diced pepper tops, and half of the italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Place mixture into pepper shells.

At the bottom of the crockpot, combine tomato sauce, paste and remaining salt, pepper and seasoning. Mix in cherry tomatoes.

Place peppers in bottom of pot, them spoon some of the tomato sauce mixture over them. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
