Lola's Southern Collard Greens

Ingredients
20.0 cup 2# Bag Fresh Collard Greens (raw)6.0 serving Bacon, John Morrell, Hardwood Smoked Bacon (2 slices/17g)1 chopped Onions, raw8.0 cup Campbell's low sodium chicken broth3.0 tbsp white distilled VinegarGarlic salt2 #2 bags of Glory brand fresh raw collard greens1 pound bacon cut into small pieces1 medium white onion chopped2 - 32 oz boxes reduced sodium chicken broth3 Tbsp white distilled vinegarGarlic salt to taste
Directions
Cook bacon on low heat in a large stock pot until fat is completely rendered. Add onion and cook until soft. Add collard greens stirring until mixed with bacon and onions. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally. Add water as needed to prevent the greens from drying out. Simmer until greens are tender. Approximately 2 hours.
