12 oz Evaporated fat free skim milk 12 oz can -GREAT VALUE 2 TBSP all purpose flour 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted and melted2 cup GREAT VALUE finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese , shredded 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Fiesta Fancy Light Chili Powder no salt added
Melt butter on stove top over low heat then add flour and whisk with a teflon or vinyl covered whisk until mixed well and cook the flour for at least one minute while storing to rid it of it's pasty flour taste. Next step add whole 12 oz can of fat free evaporated milk and whisk together until very warm and a little bubbly, next add 8oz block of cheddar cheese, grated to the hot milk and flour and stir well until cheese is melted and incorporated into the mix. Finally add paprika and chili powder and stir. Serve warm with your favorite chips or crackers or bread.
