Ingredients
Directions
2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 0.25 tsp Vanilla Extract 1.50 cup Milk Whole Vitamin D 3 Tblsp Maple Syrup
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Whisk eggs in a bowl large enough for all ingredients until lightly beaten. Add milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract; gently beat until well mixed. Pour mixture into four baking cups/ramekins. Put baking cups in another baking dish/pan. Pour enough water into baking dish to cover halfway up the sides of the baking cups. Bake preheated oven until a knife inserted in the center of a custard comes out clean, 35 to 45 minutes. Remove from hot baking dish and refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hour. The custard will continue to cook as it cools.
Although custard is done when a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean, the custard may still be jiggling a bit.
