Indian Spiced Chickpeas

Ingredients
1/2 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 cloves Garlic, minced 1/4 large Green Pepper, chopped1 tbsp minced Ginger Root 1 14.5 oz can Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) 1 tbsp Cento Tomato Paste1/4 cup Water1/2 tbsp Chili powder 1 tsp Cumin seed 1 tsp Garam Masala2 tsp Curry powder 1 tsp Cornstarch
Directions
Spray a pot with cooking spray. Saute the vegetables until softened. Add remaining ingredients and cook over med-high heat, stirring frequently. Stir cornstarch in a little water until smooth. Stir it in the chickpeas and simmer a few more minutes until slightly thickened.
