Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Ingredients
1 C Butter, salted1 C Brown Sugar1/2 C Granulated Sugar2 Large Eggs1 t. Vanilla extract1 1/2 C Flour1 t. Baking Soda1 t. Ground Cinnamon1/2 t. Ground Cloves1/2 t. Salt3 C Rolled Oats1 C Craisins
Directions
1. Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and sald. Stir into sugar mixture.
3. Stir in oats and cinnamon.
4. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes or unil light and golden. (Be careful not to overbake)

    I cut this in half, used almond extract ,pumpkin spice and splenda cooking sugar instead. these disappeared before any body knew they were made. - 4/29/09

    I added 1/2 cup mini choc. chips, 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts...I OMITED the white sugar and subsituted 1/2 cup of butter for 1/2 cup of applesauce and used egg beaters instead of the real thing. I would definately make again....Tasty cookie...would be sweeter with the regular amount of sugar. - 2/22/09
