Tamale Pie

Ingredients
.75 cup cornmeal1.5 cup milk1 egg1 lb ground beef1 chili seasoning packet (1.25 oz) 1 can (16 ounces) diced tomatoes1 can (16 ounces) corn1 cup shredded or grated cheddar cheese
Directions
Drain the corn.

Beat the egg.

Brown and drain the ground beef.

Combine cornmeal, milk and egg.

Stir in meat, seasoning, tomatoes and corn until well blended.

Pour into slow cooker.

Cover.

Cook on high 1 hour, then turn slow cooker down to low and cook 3 more hours.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Serve when cheese has melted.
