Crock-pot Beef, Beans, and Veg Chili

2 Kroger frozen mixed vegetable bags 3.5 cups Black Beans - 1 can - Kroger 3.5 cups Dark red kidney beans - 1 can - Kroger3.5 cup Chopped tomatoes in tomato juice - 1 can16 oz Ground beef, extra lean (15% fat) or Ground Turkey1.25 oz Taco Seasoning pack - Kroger1/2 cup water (as needed)*Other seasoning to taste
Brown the meat in a large skillet and drain off any extra fat.
Place the meat in a 3 1/2 to 4 quart Crock-pot.
Add all other ingredients, stir. Do not drain the beans or tomatoes. Do not heat up the frozen vegetables. Add water if needed.
Cook for 2-3 hours on high or 4-6 hours on low.
Makes 5 2-cup servings. Can be topped with grated cheese, low-fat sour cream, or tortilla chips.
