Ingredients
Directions
Half head Fresh Cabbage1 medium CarrotsSauce1/2 cup Meijer Lite Mayonnaise (8 Tbsp)4 oz Nonfat Greek Yogurt-Plain 1/4 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Mustard Powder4 tbsp Distilled White Vinegar 1 tsp Celery seed 1 tbsp Raw Honey (or 3 tsp sugar)
• Wash, cut and core the cabbage. Slice or grate to your preference.
• Grate the carrot and add to the prepared cabbage.
• Mix the sauce ingredients together until well incorporated. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes, then taste. If more tart is desired, add vinegar one tablespoon at a time. If more sweet is wanted, add more honey or sugar 1 teaspoon at a time. (My mother likes it with an additional 1/4 cup of sugar! for a more 'Amish' style sweet slaw.)
• Mix the sauce with the prepped carrot and cabbage, cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours for the flavors to meld with the cabbage.
