2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup butter or margarine (softened) 1/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding (I use instant pudding mix) 2 large eggs 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips 1 cup nuts (optional)
Directions
1Preheat oven to 375°.
2Mix flour with baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
3In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and pudding mix.
4Beat until smooth and creamy.
5Beat in eggs and vanilla; gradually add flour mixture.
6Stir in chips and nuts.

I have made these a couple of times for family things. And wow, they are so moist! I love it! Even after baking them and letting them sit for a couple of days, they still are very mosit like they just came right out of the oven. This is a must try recipe for any sort of event that you may have close - 2/13/09
