Ingredients
16.0 oz Ground beef, lean2.0 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, diced2.0 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, diced or julienned2.0 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, diced or julienned3.0 clove Garlic, minced0.5 head, large (about 7" dia) Cabbage, chopped into 1" pieces2.0 large Green bell Peppers, diced1 - 28oz can Canned Tomatoes, diced or if whole, chopped or squished by hand1 can Campbell''s beef broth, 25% less salt, prepared with equal amount water1 - 5.5oz can tomato paste1.0 tbsp unpacked Brown Sugar2.0 tsp Paprika1.0 tsp Oregano, ground0.25 tsp Cinnamon, ground0.13 tsp Allspice1.0 whole Bay Leaf0.5 tsp Salt1.0 tsp Pepper, black, freshly ground1.0 tbsp Canola Oil4.0 cup Water
Directions
Heat a very large pot over medium heat, and add oil. Add onions and salt, stir until soft. Add garlic, celery and carrot, stir until soft. Add cabbage, stir until slightly wilted, then add all the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a simmer and cook until all the vegetables are soft.
