Chewy oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies

Ingredients
1/2 c. Soft butter (unsalted)1/2 c. Unsweet applesauce1/2 c. Brown splenda1/2 c. Splenda2 Lg. Eggs2 tsp Vanilla extract1 1/4 c. unbleached organic flour1/2 tsp. baking soda1 tsp salt3 c. oats (quick)2 c. semi chocolate chips
Directions
preheat oven 325 degrees.
Cream first four ingredients. Add one egg at a time. Then cream in vanilla. Then add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Add the oats and then fold in the chips.
Spoon onto ungreased baking sheet. bake for 10 minutes or when they START to brown. Let them set on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then set on counter to cool.
Makes 32 good sized cookies.
