Gluten free Marsala sauce

Ingredients
0.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 5 tsp Garlic 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh 16 oz Kirkland Chicken Stock 12 oz marsala wine (by CBWEBER) 2 tbsp Argo 100% Pure Corn Starch 3 fl oz Water, tap
Directions
Add olive oil to heavy hot saucepan. Add onions, garlic, mushrooms, saute until mushrooms are tender. Deglaze pan with Marsala wine, reduce by half. Add chicken stock and Heat to simmer. Add salt and pepper to taste. Combine cornstarch and cold water, add to pan and simmer until sauce reaches desired thickness.
