16 serving CHHILI POWDER, 1 TSP 16 serving LEMON JUICE, 1 LEMON 16 serving BEANS, DRY, 15 BEAN (HURST'S HAMBEEN) 20 OZ DRY 16 serving SAUSAGE,ORG KIOLBASSA 1 LB 16 serving TOMATOES, DICED W/ MED GRN CHILIES, MUIR GLEN ORG, 14.5 OZ CAN 16 serving ONION, RED; CHOPPED 1 CUP 16 serving GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED, 2 EA
1) RINSE BEANS. PUT IN LARGE POT AND COVER WITH 8 CUPS WATER. SOAK OVERNIGHT OR FOR 8 HOURS.
2) DRAIN WATER . PUT BEANS BACK IN POT. ADD 8 CUPS WATER, ONION AND MEAT (IF USING). BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER COVERED FOR 1 1/2 - 2 HOURS. STIR OCCASIONALLY.
3) ADD TOMATOES, CHILI POWDER, LEMON JUICE AND GARLIC. SIMMER COVERED FOR ANOTHER 30 MINUTES.
4) ADD CONTENTS OF SEASONING PACKET 1-2 MINUTES BEFORE COOKING IS COMPLETE. SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE.
