Ingredients
3 c. Oatmeal1 c. Whole Wheat Flour4 Tbsp. flaxseed1 tsp. soda1/4 tsp. nutmeg1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce1/2 c. honey1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Mix the dry ingredients. Add the rest. Mix. Drop onto cookie sheet and pat to 1/4 " thickness. Bake at 275 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. They will be chewy. Refrigerate to solidify more if desired. Makes 35 cookies. Smaller cookies mean less fat per serving! It's up to you...

    My baby loved these. The rest of us thought they were pretty bland and not sweet enough. The chocolate chips are good :) and they are pretty healthy. I think if I made them again I'd try adding peanut butter and some nuts to give them more flavor. - 2/1/12
