* 3/4 cup [190 mL] salad dressing [mayonnaise-style] * 4 teaspoons [20 mL] vinegar * 1/2 cup [125 mL] sugar * 1/2 pound [227 g] bacon, well-cooked and cut into small pieces * About 8 cups [2 L] broccoli * 1/2 pound [227 g] Cheddar cheese, diced * 1 onion, finely sliced [ex: Spanish onion]
* Mix together first 3 ingredients; set aside.
* Rinse broccoli.
* Slice onion.
* Incorporate bacon, onion and Cheddar cheese to broccoli; mix.
* Add sauce and mix.
* Refrigerate 3 hours.
