Vegetable Upma

Ingredients
1/2 cup Semolina1 cup frozen peas or any mixed vegetables2 Tbsp oil1 tsp black mustard seeds2 Tbsp Urad dal 1" piece of Ginger1 small jalapeno1/4 cup Dry roasted Cashew (optional)Salt 1 tsp
Directions
Heat oil in a sauce pan. add msutard seeds. When mustard finishes spluttering, add urad dal, ginger, chopped jalapeno and the semolina. Roast it for a few min unril semolina starts to change color. Add the peas, 2 cups of hot water and salt. Cook until all water has evaporated.

For a variation you can fry 1 chopped onion also.
