This recipe was awesome, I doubled it for our family of 6 and even the kids liked it. I served it with "Creamy Parmesan Mashed Potatoes" also an SP recipe and the sauce from the pork chops was great! A side of steamed broccoli and a great meal. Thanks to everyone for sharing their recipes. - 4/8/09

I really liked this recipe. It is salty but I like salt, so it was fine by me. I added green pepper to the onions and sprinkled scallions in after I added the soup. I used cream of onion soup as my husband doesn't like mushrooms. This was a nice change to pork chops. - 1/31/09

Very good meal. I did change a few things though. I added half an onion (sliced) and 2 cups sliced mushrooms). I also only added 1tbsp onion soup mix. I actually just finished off a little I had left in the package and when I tasted it, I found it really good so I left it at that. - 1/29/09

A little more salty than I prefer. I think I'd reduce the amount of onion soup (or substitute somespices) next time. A good winter recipe -- plenty of sauce to spoon over potatoes or brown rice. Will make again with mentioned adjustments. - 1/17/09

I love this recipe! I didn't have a packet of onion soup mix so i just left it out and it was still GREAT! I made a baked potato on the side and used the sauce over the potatoe. - 1/8/09

This recipe was delicious & easy to make. I had porkchops already marinated in adobo seasoning. The only problem was that I had to substitute onion soup mix with a little Herb De Provence & sage seasoning instead. Everyone raved about this dish! - 1/6/09

This was a lovely, I changed it a little by adding the rice to the mixture instead of putting the dish on top. It was really nice. - 10/3/08

Very good! I added a couple cloves of garlic right before the chops and also added a little bit of sherry with the other liquids- elevated the flavor nicely! Will make again - 4/2/14

I loved this and so did my hubby...it didn't need any adjustments for us but if you want ..To reduce salt use just half the dried onion soup mix or You can also add just a pnch of sugar to reduce any overly salty taste in food. Thank you for the easy yet yummy recipe. - 2/7/12

This was very good. I like food a little salty so I used almost the whole packet of onion soup mix. It gave it a great flavor. I didn't have cream of mshrm soup, so I used cream of chkn instead. My fiance loved it! I used the sauce as gravy on mashed potatoes. I will definitely make this again - 7/5/11

Delicious! I doubled the recipe and only had one pkg. of onion soup mix, but it was plenty. If I made the orig. size recipe I would only use 1/2 of the pkg. I added a small can of sliced mushrooms along with the water in the can to thin the soup a bit. This recipe is quick and easy and yummy! - 12/29/10

If the sauce is too thin dry fry 1 tbsp of plain flour in a pan and add when browned. Adding flour this way ensures there are no lumps and doesn't impair flavour. Great recipe though! - 9/16/09

I commented on this one before but this one has become a quick & easy regular recipe for me. I omit the onion soup & instead add dehydrated onions and sliced mushrooms to the olive oil when I brown the pork chops, add the mushroom soup and it is still WONDERFUL.. so we have cut out a lot of sodium! - 6/17/09
