Mila's Crock Pot Beef Roast

Ingredients
38.0 oz Beef Bottom Round Roast (rump roast) - about 2.5 lbs3.0 serving Publix Baby Carrot Snack Packs (one 3-oz package)3.0 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw2.0 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw1.0 1tsp Olive Oil1.0 serving(s) onion soup mix1.0 cup vegetable broth, fat free, kroger1.0 dash Salt1.0 dash Pepper, black0.5 tbsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
Directions
Season the roast with salt and pepper, brown on all sides in a skillet with 1 tsp of olive oil. Place in crock pot, add onion soup mix, broth, chopped carrots, onion, potatoes and celery. Cook on "high" for 4-5 hours or on "low" for 8 to 10 hrs.
