Julie's stuffed green peppers

Ingredients
1 20 oz package 93% lean ground turkey1 small onion, chopped1/2 c. dried bread crumbs1/2 c. ketchup2 egg whites1 T. steak sauce2 green bell peppers, seeded and halved lengthwise
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Set pepper halves aside. In large bowl, combine all other ingredients. Fill the pepper halves with turkey mixture. Bake at 350 F for 50 minutes. Makes 4 servings.

    I wasn't the biggest fan of this one. I thought it kind tasted like meatloaf in a pepper. I think with some red pepper flakes or maybe adding a little bit of low fat cheese might help spice it up! - 8/21/08

    My husband and I both enjoyed this version of a stuffed pepper. I wasn't sure turkey could do stuffed pepers justice, but they were even better! I thought we may be going out to eat if they were bad, but we were very pleasantly surprised. We will definitely have these again! Thank You. - 8/3/08
