Jarlsberg Vegetable Bisk

Ingredients
3 tbsp Butter, salted 3 tbsp Flour, white 4 cup Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free 2 cup, chopped Broccoli, fresh 3/4 cup, chopped Carrots, raw 1/2 cup, diced Celery, raw 1 small Onions, raw 1 clove Garlic, minced 1/4 tsp Thyme, ground 1/2 tsp Salt 1/8 tsp Pepper, black 1 can (13 oz) Milk, canned, evaporated 1 egg yolk 1 1/2 cups shredded Jarlsberg Cheese
Directions
In large heavy saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and cook several minutes, stirring. Remove from heat. Gradually blend in broth. Bring to boil, stirring. add next 8 ingredients. Cover; simmer 8 minutes till vegetables are tender. Blend evaporated milk and egg yolk. Gradually blend in several Tablespoons soup. Return to soup and cook; stirring till thickened. Blend in cheese, Serve.
