1 head, large (about 7" dia) Cabbage, fresh 2 serving Bacon, John Morrell, Hardwood Smoked Bacon (2 slices/17g) 2 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 3 tsp McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning 1 tsp seasoning salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 4 strips of bacon on baking sheet and cook until crisp then chop bacon. Cut cabbage into chunks (no need to be consistent), place half in the crockpot then sprinkle with the McCormick seasoning and chopped bacon and the bacon grease, add remaining cabbage then sprinkle with seasoning salt. Pour the water in and turn on crockpot either 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
