Slow Cooker Rice Pudding

1 C. Short grain rice (or other glutinous rice such as Arborio).25 C. Sugar.25 C. Splenda1 can Fat Free Evaporated Milk1 can Regular Evaporated Milk1 t. Vanilla Extract1 t. Cinnamon, ground (or to taste)1 t. Nutmeg (or to taste).25 t. salt
Measure all ingredients and put into the crock of a slow cooker. Cover tightly and cook on high 2-4 hours, or until rice is tender and pudding is creamy. A 1/2 C. of raisins may be added to the pudding in the last hour, if desired. Splenda may be successfully substituted for the .25 C. of sugar.
*Cook's Note: After over-cooking this the first time I made it, I recommend checking on it every 30 minutes or so after the first 2 hours.
