Microwave baked apple

Ingredients
0.5 serving Apple, Gala (medium)0.4 tbsp Syrup Maple Maple Valley Organic Grade B0.2 tsp Pumpkin Pie spice
Directions
Wash apple, cut in half, remove core, sepals, and stem. Slice as thinly as you can using a knife or mandoline, and place in a microwave safe bowl. Drizzle on the syrup and sprinkle with pie spice Microwave covered for 1 minute, then check for doneness. I decided to nuke mine for 30 seconds more, uncovered, to make the apples reabsorb some of the liquid they released. Eat warm, or let cool if you prefer. I put mine on waffles.
