Hamburger Buns

Ingredients
1.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw1.0 tbsp Butter, unsalted1.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap0.25 cup Granulated Sugar3.5 cup Flour, white
Directions
Dissolve sugar in warmed water (120°F) and then dissolve yeast in sugar water. Allow to foam for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to mixing bowl of stand mixer. Once yeast is ready pour it in the bowl and fit mixer with dough hook. Set to mix until dough pulls away from bowl. Mix an additional 4 minutes. Allow dough to rise in a warm place that has no drafts for 90 minutes. Punch down and turn out onto floured board. Cut and shape into 8 buns. Allow to rise an additional hour. If you want, melt some additional butter and brush tops before baking 15 to 18 minutes at 375°F. Serving Size: 1 hamburger bun
