1 serving Granny smith apple - 1 med. apple 0.25 tsp Cinnamon, ground 1.5 tsp unpacked Brown Sugar 1 Serving(s) Pink Himalayan sea salt 5.3 tbsp Nonfat Great Value Cream Cheese 5.3 oz Odyssey plain Greek yogurt 16 grams Mission dried figs 5 figs 4 tbsp chopped walnuts
Peel and core apple. Dice into small pieces and add to a medium saucepan. Add cinnamon, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, and sea salt. Cover and cook until apples begin to boil. Reduce heat and cook for about 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Make sure apples don’t burn or turn into applesauce. While apples are cooking, add softened cream cheese, yogurt, and remaining brown sugar. . Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and sugar is combined. Refrigerate apples until ready to use. Place 2 figs into a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add nuts reserving tablespoon and continue to chop until a coarse crumb consistency and are combined with figs. Evenly layer in each ramekin fig mixture , cream cheese, and lastly cooked apples. Sprinkle remaining tablespoon of walnuts on top of each dish. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
