1 serving Raw Shrimp, simple peel, Large 31-40 ct per lb Frozen, 2lb bag (Serv size = 4oz or 10 shrimp) (by LGSCARRIE) 0.5 tsp Dried Thyme Leaves (by VGRAEVE) 1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf 1 serving Broth, chicken: College Inn, Light & Fat Free, 50% less Sodium, Chicken Broth, 1 cup/serv 1 serving Garlic - minced (1 tsp) (by ELLERCADE) 1 serving Tomatoes, canned: Delmonte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added (by SONNYG1) 0.25 tsp Cajun Seasoning (by KARENWP08) .5 cup, diced Celery, raw .5 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers) .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 serving Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage 1.5 1tsp Olive Oil
cook sausage for 2 min in olive oil, add onion pepper and celery and season with salt and cajun seasoning. Cook till veggies are soft then stir in tomatoes with juice, garlic, broth, bay leaves and thyme. Bring to boil then reduce to medium and simmer 20 min. After 20 min stir in shrimp and cook 10 min uncovered until shrimp are translucent. Remove from heat and let stand about 5 min

Delicious, I did add pepper flakes to it, love spicy - 9/19/20

I normally add red pepper to mine too. I prefer it with the andouille which is spicy and my daughter uses hot sausage.
