We were looking for a recipe to make dumplings to go with chicken. It was a little gummy overall and I wouldn't do this with just water but it definitely helped fill out the meal some and was easy to make. - 9/16/11

This is how I always make them---without baking powder. My family loves them and asks for them often. - 12/1/10

Good also when using water instead of milk, adding a tsp baking powder and beef or chicken base and use it as a side dish. This is YUMMY! - 10/18/10

yes. It really doesn't matter how much you put in. Make it the consistancy of cooky dough and you will be find.
