Apple Pie Cake

Ingredients
1 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour .5 cup, packed Brown Sugar 0.25 tsp Salt, Sifto Table Salt (by FAREWELLBC) .5 cup Butter, salted 6 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 Apples, fresh with skin 9 tsp packed Brown Sugar 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground 2 tsp Lemon Juice 'Real Lemon' 100% juice 1 package (18.50 oz) Cake, yellow, dry mix, pudding-type .3 cup Canola Oil 3 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
Directions
1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with baking spray with flour.

2 In medium bowl, stir together flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and the salt. With pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Set aside.

3 In a large bowl, gently stir together Apple Mixture ingredients; set aside.

4 In large bowl, beat Cake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.

5 Arrange apple mixture evenly over cake batter and sprinkle with Topping.

6 Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
