Paleo Burgers with Caramelized Balsamic Onions

16 oz Ground beef 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Pepper, black 2 tsp Garlic powder 2 tbsp Olive Oil 2 small Onions, raw 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar 1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Red Ripe Tomatoes 1 fruit without skin and seeds Avocados, California (Haas)
1. Heat a large skillet to medium high heat.
2. Add oil to pan. Once heated, add thinly sliced onions. Sautee until lightly caramelized, stirring occasionally (10-15 min)
3. Add balsamic vinegar. Saute for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from pan and set aside.
4. Form 4 1/4 lb burgers with the ground beef.
5. Lightly season wih both sides wiht salt, pepper and garlic powder.
6. Heat the pan to medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Place burgers in the skillet and saute each side fir 3-5 minutes (depending on desired doneness).
Place burgers on plates. top with tomatoes, avocado and onions.
