Chocolate-Oat Biscuits

Ingredients
1 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour1/2 cup Oatmeal1 tsp Baking Soda1/4 tsp Salt3/4 cup Turbinado2 T Mott's All Natural Applesauce, unswtnd1 cup Heidi's Real Egg2 T Turbinado4 T Hershey's All Natural Cocoa Powder, unswtnd1 T Mott's All Natural Applesauce, unswtnd2 tsp Adam's Best Pure Vanilla Extract1 tsp Adam's Best Pure Almond Extract4 pieces Dove Rich Dark Chocolate, chopped
Directions
Oven to 375' for 13 minutes.

1) Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat turbinado, applesauce, and extracts at medium speed of a mixer until well blended (about 5 minutes).

2) Beat egg whites until foamy using clean, dry beaters. Gradually add remaining turbinado, 1 tablespoon at a time; beat until soft peaks form.

3)Add remaining applesauce; beat until stiff peaks form. Fold flour mixture into egg white mixture. Add cocoa powder.

4) Drop by level tablespoons 1 inch apart onto baking sheets.

5) Remove from oven, and let stand 5 minutes. Remove cookies from pans, and cool on wire racks. Store loosely covered
