Red Beans, Brown Rice, and Turkey Sausage

1 cup brown rice2 cups water2 TB. butter2 Turkey sausage links, already cooked1 can of red beans
In a large pan stir together rice, water and butter. Bring to a boil, stir, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Allow to simmer without lifting lid for 25 minutes. If all water is not absorbed, cover 2 - 5 additional minutes. Fluff with a fork.
In microwave, heat the turkey sausage, cut into small pieces. Add to rice along with kidney beans. Stir and heat through. May add additional seasonings to taste.
