Fagioli Tuscano Soup

Ingredients
1 baking potato, diced1 large tomato, chopped1/2 cup onion, minced1 lb Tuscan kale, chopped8 cloves garlic, cut in half1/2 tbsp coarse sea salt 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes1/4 tsp ground black pepper6 1/2 cups water19 oz cooked kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large soup pot.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 1 1/4 hours.
Puree smooth in a blender or food processor, then return to pot and stir in kidney beans.
Keep warm until redy to serve.
