Ingredients
1 green tomato1/2 c of flour3 tbsp veg oilsalt & pepper
Directions
Slice tomatoe, pour oil in skillet and get nice and hot. place flour on plate and coat both sides of tomatoe and place in hot skillet. cook unitl golden brown and crisp place on paper towel to drain off some oil eat. Plain, or on bread as sandwich YUMMO!!!!!!!

    I like this simple recipe! I use buttermilk baking mix instead of flour. Shake slices in a bag with the mix. A cast iron skillet is great for this recipe! - 9/23/10

    I add garlic, basil, black pepper and old bay to the flour and cook in olive oil. delish - 8/10/10
