1 3/4 cups flour 3/4 sugar (less 1 tablespoon if using maple syrup)1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional) 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg 3/4 cup Milk (calculated with 1%) 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 tablespoon ground flax seed 1 tablespoon water 1/2-1 tablespoon melted buttercinnamon sugar (about 1 tablespoon)
Mix dry ingredients together. In separate bowl mix liquids and add to dry ingredients. Place in greased or lined muffin cups and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. After baking, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
