Sausage Gravy

Ingredients
16 oz of bulk breakfast sausage1 medium onion, chopped0.5 c flour2 c milk 2%
Directions
Crumble the bulk sauasge in a pan and cook. Make sure to keep breaking up the lumps as you go. When the meat is cooked, but not browned, add the onions and cook until translucent.

Stir in the flour until it coats the meat. Slowly add the milk to the pan, making sure to scrape the browned bits off the bottom of the pan. Continue to stir and cook over low heat until thickened.

This is tradionally served over biscuits - but to keep the fat down (it's already so high!), I serve it over toast points.

Serves 6, approximately 0.75 cups per serving.
