Apple tea Cake

* Butter, salted, 185 grams * Granulated Sugar, 0.75 cup * Egg, fresh, 3 medium * *Flour, white, 2 cup * Milk, 1%, 0.33 cup * Apples, fresh, 2 small (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb (remove) * Cinnamon, ground, 0.25 tsp * vanilla extract, 1 tsp
Prehear oven to 160C. Lightly grease a 20cm pan. Using an lectric mixer, beat butter with sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl until pale and creamy. add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth.
Fold sifted flours into egg mixture in 2 batches, alternating with milk, until just combined. Spread in pan. Slice apples thinkly, arrange over batter and press gently.
Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer. combin 3 teaspoons of sugare with cinnamon, sprinkle over hot cake. cool 10 minutes in pan. Sut in wedges to serve.
