Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
3 lbs ground beef1 large onion, coarsely chopped3/4 cup chopped celery1 cup barbeque sauce1 can (26.5 oz) sloppy joe sauce24 hamburger buns
Directions
Cook and drain beef and onions over medium heat. Mix beef and onions with remaining ingredients expebt buns in slow cooker. Cover and cook 7-9 hours on low (or 3-4 hrs on high), until vegetables are tender. Uncover and cook until desired consistency. Stir well before serving. Fill buns with beef mixture.

    This was delicious. You could add extra lean ground beef to cut back on all those calories and fat (because there are hidden calories in the sloppy joe sauce, depending which brand you buy!) Other than that my family went nuts for it and had third helpings! - 6/28/10
