Quick cheese Grits

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups water1/2 Quaker Quick Grits4 ounces pasturized process cheese spread, cubedGarlic powder = dashPaprika = 1/4 teaspoonBlack pepper = to taste
Directions
In saucepan, boil water then slowely stir the grits into it. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 12-14 minutes or until thickened, stir occasionally.
Add cheese garlic powder and paprika
Continue cooking and stirring until cheese mels, about 2-3 minutes.
Add Pepper to taste

    Mmm, so happy to be able to have a serving of grits. I feel as satisfied as a little kid. I have to say that I never thought of using garlic powder in grits before - great add. - 8/20/09
