Herb Bread

Ingredients
1 long loaf french bread6 tablespoons butter or margarine4 tsp. chopped fresh parsley3 tsp. chopped fresh basil or oregano or any other fresh herbs.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.

Slice French loaf along length but don't cut all the way through. Melt butter in a small pan and stir in herbs. Brush mixture along inside of bread until all used up. Wrap whole French loaf in foil and bake for 10 minutes.

Serve and enjoy.

    A fast and easy herbed bread, I think I would add some garlic to it as well. It should work well on whole wheat french bread, too. - 3/25/07
